DNB Programe In Cardiology(Proposed)
The DNB in Cardiology programme at NIMS Medicity is accredited by the National Board of Examination which is a 3 year training programme.Candidates desirous of applying for the course should have passed MD/DNB General Medicine conducted by the NBE clinical training will be in our well equipped cardiology unit performing Invasive and Non Invasive procedures – Trans Thoracic and Trans esophageal Echo Cardiography, stress ECG and Holter Lab, Cardiac CT and Invasive Cardiology (Diagnostic and Interventional procedure Angioplasties and implantation Balloon dilation for valvular heart diseases, device closure for selected congenital heart diseases, Electro physiology studies and pacemaker/ICD carotid stenting.
DNB In Pediatrics
The DNB Paediatrics at NIMS Medicity is a Post Graduate level course, accredited by National Board of Examinations.This course is designed to identify various concepts related to the field of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases in infants, children and adolescents. The students will be trained in our well-equipped PICU, NICU which has all the basic and advanced equipment’s under the experts of Pediatricians and Neonatologist. The students will be trained in Cardio respiratory emergencies, Neuro-Intensive Management, Post Surgical Care, Endocrine and metabolic disorders. The students will also be undergoing training in NIMS Spectrum, Child Developmental Centre for Early identification,Easly stimulation and Early Intervention.
DGO In Obstetrics and Gynaecology
DGO in Obstetrics and Gynaecology is a PG Diploma 2 years course offered by NIMS Medicity, accredited by National Board of Examinations, Newdelhi. The Programme aims at Hands on training to take care of both pregnant and non pregnant patients. The main objectives is to provide training to the students to make them experts in the clinical pathology of female Reproductive organs. The students will be able to get trained in Medical Genetics, Medical and Surgical Obstetric emergencies, Conducting normal/abnormal deliveries Child health and handle Neonatal Emergencies under the expert guidance of Gynaecologist and obstetrician.
IAP Fellowship Program in Developmental & Behavioural Pediatrics
There are opportunities for formal academic training of the Pediatricians in the subject of Childhood Disability, Neuro Sensory Impairments and Neuro Behavior Disorders and Early Intervention, except for in post graduation curriculum .The aim of the IAP Fellowship program in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics is to provide specialized training to doctors to be able to identify early any infant or toddler at risk for developmental disorder.Eligibility of the fellowship program: MD (Pediatrics)/ DNB (Pediatrics)/DCH Fellowship period : 1 year Certification: IAP Chapter of Neuro Developmental Pediatrics
